SOL Pit Master and General Manager

A local and a life long Wisconsinite, Greg grew up in the restaurant and bar business where he started out as a dishwasher and worked his way up the kitchen ranks. He now brings with him 15 years of professional experience working in various culinary and management roles. Most recently, Greg spent 4 years in the role as General Manager and Pit Master at Old Southern BBQ, where he perfected his skills with wood smoking and fostered his love for BBQ.

At the heart of Greg’s work is a genuine passion for cooking, a commitment to using locally sourced, fresh foods, and a dedication to the community he serves.

When Greg isn’t leading his restaurant team, he can be found in his home kitchen playing with flavors and creating new recipes for his family.

As an adept restaurant manager and seasoned professional in the culinary realm Greg brings a well-rounded skillset making him an ideal fit for SOL.
